Jamie and Tony Marry December 31st

I'm glad that Tony and Jamie decided against a courthouse ceremony in favor of a small at home wedding at their home on December 31st.  Only his father and her mother, plus our wonderful photographer, Morgan Henderson of Morgan Henderson Photography were there besides myself.  This was the classiest smallest ceremony I've ever been a part of. I'm glad that Morgan was there to document this sweet event in such a lovely way.

Jamie was a delight to have an email conversation with, and she and Tony created a ceremony that honored the love they have for their family as well as the love they have for each other.  Each of their parents lit a family-candle as family representatives, that was part of their unity candle ceremony.  Tony and Jamie thanked them for all that had done for them throughout their lives.  You could see how close they are to these two wonderfully supportive parents.  We also took a moment to remember Tony's mother, Ruby, who was much missed this day.

Before they exchanged rings, we blessed them with the prayer, 'God bless these rings, and continue to bless this holy union, that Tony and Jamie, who give these rings and who wear them, may ever abide in thy peace and walk the path which you have set for them.  We pray they live together in unity, love and happiness for the rest of their lives.  Amen.'

Their parents were our witnesses as well as very honored guests and you could tell how much the ceremony meant to them, too.

Jamie sent me this follow up note with these pictures:  'Hi Robin:  STILL glowing, thank you for all you've done. ... You are charming, and we appreciate your being a part of our very special day!  Who could tell it was a last minute (and VERY GOOD) change of plan from the Courthouse ceremony?'  Thanks much,  Jamie and Tony'
Tony and Jamie were a delight in my life.  I wish them all the best!
